Revolution in Izjubi!
Rebels storming the People's Palace in Izjubi
The people of New Socialistia have risen up last Friday amidst huge political turmoil in the country following the anti-democracy forces of Juanman assassination of Rupert Wojewódzki, the leader of the Democracy Protests that were put down two weeks ago. The rebellion started when guards at the People's Palace were leading a man suspected of being a rebel to be executed and some townspeople took up pots, pans, hammers, knives, and anything else lying around and beat the guards to death. Upon seeing the death of the 20 guards, hundreds of workers at the Izjubi Arms small arms factory took up their rifles and forced the guards out without a fight. Arms were then provided to other citizens that wished to join in on the revolution, aided by defectors from the Socialistian Armed Forces. The mob of around 20,000 people stormed the People's Palace and outed the despot Juanman, forcing him into exile.The country is currently being run by Fritz Strudrick, the commander of the Defenders of Izjubi. He has started an election for the various offices in the New Socialistian government, with the elected government being handed power next week. Will the New Socialistian people be able to be free from tyrants and dictators, and be able to rule themselves? Only time will tell.

Moria, a BAC0N signatory, has been betrayed and invaded without warning and has lost almost all of his colonial territory to WPO forces raiding his land for delaying payment of a meager amount of resources and for using faked screenshots. The people of New Socialistia were shocked and appalled at such a breach of human and national rights by Lustria, the Mongols, and other WPO nations. New Socialistia is especially displeased with Lustria, a BAC0N signatory, violating BAC0N and ordering such a large scale assault on Moria over such a minor issue. As such, New Socialistia has created a new alliance, The United Nations, and taken Moria under its protection. The Mongols have made claims that they are liberating Morian territory and that Morians are begging to join Mongols. However, our agents have uncovered that only 15% of Morians in occupied territories supported annexation in addition to large numbers of refugees fleeing the territories to dock at the ports of Moria. Conditions in other occupied areas have been found to be very similar to the slavery found in Nation 53, with the people forced into servitude of the soldiers. Thankfully, a trial has been called and is only waiting on the members of the jury to judge. Hopefully one day the tyranny of the WPO will be ended.

New Socialistia, displeased with the actions of the WPO, has created an international alliance to protect Moria, a nation under attack by the WPO, and Haspert, a nation just south of the WPO one on C70, from the blatant Lemon-esque GDP grabbing and colonialism that it has participated in since its ;DTA; days. The alliance is open to all nations, old or new, seeking to protect or be protected to bring new nations to the world stage. Funding and advice are available to all, as is direct military aid (as opposed to providing weapons) to nations not under protection by BANANA. We hope that the UN will grow to be a large, strong, prosperous alliance that will hold a large amount of influence in the world.
